On Wednesday Prime Minister Donald Tusk laid out the directions of Polish international policy. He views the USA as a key partner, with Russians becoming more and more important. He supports further political integration of EU.
He called on creating and maintaining strong Euro-Atlantic bonds between EU and the USA. He bid good-luck to Croatia and Turkey in their negotiations.
Speaking about the importance of our relationship with the USA he said we “consider our country to be traditional and faithful allies of the USA; in the commonwealth of more than business interests; we also have common values.”
He ascertained that Poland will continue negotiations in the question of the “missile shield”. “I am positive that everyone will have enough of god will and vision for the talks to end in success,” said Tusk.
