World Tourism Day Celebrations

On the 27th of September was set a World Tourism Day. According to the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, this year's celebrations will take place in Warsaw and the President of Warsaw Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz and the Masovian Voivodeship Marshal Adam Struzik will take patronage over it.

The celebrations will start on the 15th of September with a social campaign under the title "Earn on tourism". There will be also many other attractions and happenings. The celebrations will be accompanied by press conferences and media campaigns devoted to tourism. On the 25th of September will take place a ceremonial gala of the World Tourism Day. It's worth to add that between the 25th and 27th of September in Warsaw will take place one of the biggest trades of tourism in Poland - XVIth International Touristic Trades TT Warsaw 2008.
