Euro in Poland in 2015
The real date of introduction of European currency in Poland is the 1st of January 2015. We are not sure if a change of constitution will be required, said Eugeniusz Kłopotek, a deputy of PSL (Polish People's Party).
According to the deputy the date of introduction of Euro and activity plan aimed at introduction should be fixed possibly quickly. "Let's try to introduce Euro in 2015. No matter who will govern in Poland, first of all, there must be an agreement between all political forces, so that there was no way out", said Kłopotek.
The Minister of Finance Jacek Rostowski, last week, expressed his opinion that he's not sure if a change of constitution in the context of Euro introduction, is a problem. However, if it was indispensible, then it must done before our accession to ERM2. If it was impossible we would not enter ERM2, he pointed out.
