Not long ago Members of Parliament wanted to build a fence surrounding the Seym, yet the idea was rejected. Now they are thinking about building an underground parking lot.
Members of Parliament want luxuries, they complain that they do not have enough space to park their cars. "Super Express" journalist conducted a short survey among the parliamentarians, each of them supports the idea.
It is acknowledged that being a Member of Parliament means not only prestige but also measurable financial benefits. Trains and buses free of charge, cheap loans, parliamentarian immunity, holidays and attractive foreign travels  - Members of Parliament can count on those "fringe benefits".
The fact that all taxpayers have to pay for these luxuries is another matter and nobody is concerned about it. Especially when, according to "Super Express", we spend 35,0000,000 PLN for the maintenance of the parliament. So the estimated cost of building a parking lot is really not much for the Members of Parliament.
