An average Polish salary in companies is one thousad Euro. It's still not even a minimum level of salaries in Western Europe - informed "Rzeczpospolita".

Average salaries in Poland increase several percent a year. Such tendency, accoding to economists, will remain till the end of the year. By the strong zloty currency it means that calcualted as per the exchange rate of Euro, our salaries in companies oscillate around 1 thousand Euro.

- The differences between Poland and the West are still significant, however by the 12% growth of salaries for the last year we have been chasing after richer European Union's countries - explained Rafał Cegielski, KPMG expert. - Moreover, strong zloty works in our adventage which causes that the purchasing power of our currency is getting higher.

Even today you can buy much less for earned pounds in England than two years ago. British currency exchange rate decreased towards zloty for about 28% in this time.
Comparing the purchasing power, we cannot forget about costs of living. These are much higher in England.
