Lech Walesa: In the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) are failures and envious people
In the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) are failures and envious people with their brains so small that they cannot understand that someone could fight so beautifully", said Lech Kaczyński in "Kropka nad I" for TVN24.
The former President did not spare for words also towards Kaczynscy brothers and "environment of a politician Rydzyk". "They have overlooked", said Walesa.
"What historicians, such catalogues. I did not fight for a list but against a system and I was successful. I fought a battle. Now we are living in a free country and I am proud of it . All together Kurtyka, Kaczynski, Wyszkowski have less fight and papers against themselves than I do", said Walesa. He meant that the Institute of National Remembrance did not put his name to the catalogue of victims of repression in Comunism. The list is one of four that IPN has to publish on the internet on the strength of the rule. There are names of people who, according to IPN archivists, were persecuted and did not cooperate with the Ministry of Public Security and they were not its officers, added Walesa.
