Warsaw District Attorney launched an investigation concerning a statement of the PO (Civic Platform) deputy Janusz Palikot, who said in July in TVN24 that he find the President Kaczyński "to be a boor".

-The investigation was launched on the basis of 135th article of penal code, according to which every person who insult the head of state in public is threatened with 3 years of imprisonment. "The investigation is on the run. No one has been charged with anything so far", said Katarzyna Szeska, the spokesman of the Prosecutor.
Palikot in his interview made referance to the previous publication of the daily "Dziennik", concerning the conversation of the President Kaczyński and Minister of Foreign Affair Radosław Sikorski in case of anti-missile shield.
