Poles are searching for Inca treasure

Poland-USA-Peru scientific-explorational expedition set off from New York to Peru. The target of the fortnight expedition is to discover and to research the mysterious region of Colca Canyon - "Cruz del Condor" and its scientific documentation.

One of the goals of the Colca Condor 2008 mission is discovery of the legendary Inca treasure, hiddenf from Spaniards in XVI century.

The member of the expedition expect to find answers to many questions concerning geology, hydrography and histoty of the territory. A group of scientists, journalists and experienced travellers will use the most advanced scientific technology and their achievement will be registered by American journalists and film-makers.

The researches will be conducted by professor Marek Pozzi, geologist and hydro geologist, the author of many works devoted to the Canyon, professor Walter Tints Rush, geologist and Paweł Majcherczyk, topographist.
Foru among eight perticipants belong to the prestigious club "The Explorers Club" in New York which took patronage over the expedition.
