Great movie by Małgorzata Szumowska

A film by Małgorzata Szumowska "33 scenes from life" was awarded with Grand Prix- Silver Leopard (Jury Award) at the International Film Festival in Locarno finished on Saturday.

Locarno is one of four (next to Cannes, Berlin and Venice) most imporatant film festivals in the world.

It's the biggest international success of Polish film at so prestigious festival since 14 years.

"33 scenes from life" is a moving and very personal story about experience that is death of a close family member. We can see how it influences a family, how it deconstructs and irreversibly changes life of the whole family. Especially Julie's (starring by a German actress Julia Juntsch) - the main character in the film, from whose perspective we observe what is happening
