New marinas at Szczecin Lagoon

At Szczecin Lagoon and Baltic coastline will be built 18 new marinas. From now on we will have opportiunity to sail not only in Masuria but also at Szczecin Lagoon. Sailors will be encouraged with 18 new yacht stations built at the Lagoon and Baltic coastline. The network of marinas will start in Gryfin and will stretch through Szczecin and Swinoujscie as far as to Darłowo.

At the moment at Szczecin Lagoon the sailors have at their disposal hardly 400 park-places for yachts whereas on German side we have 3500 such places.

It's going to be changed soon because we've got 80 million zloty on building from the regional operational programme. Works will start this year and everything will be ready in 2011. The most spectacular marinas will be created in Szczecin, Trzebieza, Swinoujscie and Kamien Pomorski. Each of them will hold 500 yachts.
