Polish local authorities have a plan to build an international water way which would cut Poland across.
In a few years Warta, Noteć, Upper Vistula, Nogat and Vistula Lagoon will swarm with barges with cargo and yachts from all over the Europe. After adapting the navigability to the European standards the rivers will constitute an international water way E70 ( from Belgium through the Netherlands, Germany, Poland to Królewiec and Kłajpeda).
The idea is realized by the authorities from six voivodships in north-west Poland. Modern yachts stations will be built in Nakło, Bydgoszcz, Tczew, Malbork, Elbląg, Frombork and Braniewo.
