International Music Festival "Chopin and his Europe"

The IVth edition of the International Music Festival "Chopin and his Europe" is going to last from the 15th till the 31st of August. 200 artists is going to take part in 23 concerts.

At the opening concert in Warsaw National Philharmonic is going to perform a Croatian pianist Ivo Pogorerlić who for the very first time since the Chopin Contest in 1980 will play in Warsaw Chopin's work.

Among the pianists who are going to take part in the festival are, inter alia: Grigory Sokolov, Dang Thai Son, Olli Mustonen, Kevin Kenner, Howard Shelley, Dina Yoffe, Michie Koyama. Poland will be represented by: Janusz Olejniczak, Maciej Grzybowski, Piotr Różański and Jan Lisiecki - 13 years old boy from Canada with Polish roots.
