In the border town of Locknitz anti-Polish assault occured.
Locknitz is 18km away from Szczecin, 60 Polish families live there.

On Monday morning several acts of vandalism took place. Six windscreens were smashed and bootprints were pressed in car hoods. Poles living in border-line Löknitz believe that this is due to German Neo-Nazists from NPD party. German police arrested two suspects but they had to be released because of insufficient evidence.

It is not first attack directed towards the Poles. In summer someone had painted over licence plates on Polish cars and the inscription "Pole get out from Locknitz" appeared on a wall .
