The richest Polish woman wants to buy... a village

Grazyna Kulczyk the richest Polish woman is interested in buying Rogozka village in Lower Silesian voivodship. The communal authorities decided to put it on sale. Reportedly, the inhabitants from the hood saw her watching the terrain. Mrs Kulczyk has already a few hectares in, neighbouring with Rogozka village, Konradow.

The asking price is 13 million zloty (4 million Euro). The village has been desolated for about 30 years so it wouldn't be problem to change its name.

However, the local authorities donot confirm that Mrs Kulczyk is interested in the terrain. "We do not know anything about it. We are still waiting on the offers of investors who are willing to develop the terrain. But if they want it to happen they have to be on the auction", said Zbigniew Łopusiewicz, the mayor of Stron. The village will go under the hammer in half of September.
