International Mime Art Festival

On August 20-31, 2008 in Warsaw at the Theatre na Woli one will have opportiunity to admire mime theatres from all over the world. To this year's VIIIth edition of the Mime Art Festival were invited theatres from Japan, USA, Russia, England and Poland. Their visit also confirmed the artists from India, Korea, Israel and France.

The Festival is beginning on the 20th of August with the Japanese show "Fugue X" Derashinera Company, presenting absurd of surrounding us world on the basis of a man who accidentaly comes across one's corpses and runs away although he has nothing in common with the crime .

On the 30th of August is going to perform one of the most famous representatives of the mime art, English Nola Rea with her show "Exit Napoleon pursued by rabbits" telling a story of a jester who gaining power gets into mania of destruction.
