Summit planned on the 2th of August, Poland - Baltic Countries will be cancelled. President of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are not going to meet in Vistula, where they were to discuss a cooperation between their countries.

First, Valdas Adamkus, Lithuania leader cancelled his arrival. Officially, the reason for his absenteeism is "excessive duties".
In connection with a cancelation of President of Lithuania visit, president of Latvia Valdis Zetlers also resigned. Zeltras concluded that, given the absence of Adamkusa, he will stay in the country, where on 2th of August a referendum on amending the constitution and allowing citizens to dissolve parliament is to be hold.

In Vistula only Lech Kaczyński and Estonia president Toomas Hendrik Ilves will meet and Poland and the Baltic Countries Summit Meeting will be postponed, probably until September. The main theme will be energy cooperation - Poland and the Baltic States. Together we intend to build a new nuclear power plant in Lithuania.
