Ostroda closer and closer to Euro 2012

On 18th of July 2008 the Ostróda authorities and company Condohotels Group representatives had as guests a delegation of coordinators representing the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, PZPN, and the company PL.2012, accompanied by the UEFA representative Jürgen Müller.

July 24th, 2008 after another visit of coordinators evaluating the centres candidating to receive status of Temporary Centre for EURO 2012, Ostroda has been placed in next stage of the classification.

Guests had the opportunity to see already existing Ostroda hotels and sports facilities as well as projects and progress of new construction, which will be ready before Euro2012.
At the beginning of August 2008 Villa Port Residential Apartment should be ready to use, while a four-star hotel with knock-about name Fair Play will be ready within the next few months. One of the important demands posed by UEFA is the distance between the airport and the Temporary Centre for EURO 2012. Jacek Protas, province marshal, has ensured that till Euro 2012 Szymany airport in Szczytno will be able to accept planes which meet UEFA requirements.

Among hotel investments carried out in Ostroda by RDF Holding and Condohotels are: Holiday Villa Park *****, Villa Port Resort ****, Villa Port residences, and the Fair Play **** (knock-about name).
