Polish banks’ customers, after several months of inactivity, again incur loans. In June, the total value of granted loans amounted to more than 5 billion zloty, that is almost the same amount as in record months of housing boom in 2007 and 2006.
Experts have noticed a trend - declining interest in housing sold by developers. In June 2005, at the very beginning of the housing boom, housing sold by developers made up half of flats sold in June, this year it was only one third. Those who buy housing for the first time still frequently decide to buy a newly built apartment.
