Cracow wants to promote gays and lesbians

Cracow is the first Polish city which wants to promote officailly gays and lesbians . "We can earn money on them", informed the municipal authorities. "We have researches on disposal which confirm that gays and lesbains spend much more money on entertainment and holidays than the tourists travelling with families and relatives. "We want to earn money on it", said Izabela Helbin from the city promotion and marketing office.

"Camp tourism already exists in Cracow and develops really good. It is time to make use of it officailly", supports her views Magdalena Sroka, a chairman of the Cracow Festival Office (she deals with organization of the cultural events in the city). She promised to, for example, publish a guide by the city council directed to homosexualists. There will also appear posters and billboards for this group of tourists, there will be also promotion in internet.
