Weddings and divorces

There is approximately quarter million weddings a year in Poland, but unfortunately another, this time worrying indicator is growing: the number of divorces is rising twice faster than marriages.

According to the CSO (Central Statistical Office – GUS: Główny Urząd Statystyczny) 70 thousand divorces was reported last year. This year it will be much more.

Company Multiradio from Poznan, which organizes weddings, recently expanded their services into organizing divorce parties. Right now they have a promotion: if you organize a wedding with them, you will have a divorce party with 80-percent discount.

And you can add to that trained mediators, lawyers, experts who determine the paternity or travel agencies organising after-divorce trips.

All of them will present themselves in few weeks time on first in Poland divorce fair, which will be held in autumn in Wroclaw.
