New drugs – easy to get

Emigrants from British Islands imported fashion for so called smarts - a new generation of drugs. These drugs can be legally bought at the disco and in online shops. Component substances are not prohibited by Polish law.

Smart drugs are similar to drugs which have been on the market for many years. They addict in the same way and can be also mortally dangerous.

Frequent parties visitors are taking smarts commonly. The most popular is smart made of BPZ. It contains a substance called n-benzylpiperazine. The package of five BZP tablets costs from 30 to 50 polish zloty (10 -15 euro).

In Poland, according to the government’s statistics, there is about 120 thousand drug addicts. According to the research conducted by Anti-Drug National Office more than 50 percent high school students own up taking drugs.
