Six females of Kamchatka’s crabs - the world's largest shellfish - dwelt in Gdynia Aquarium. For now, they are young and pretty small, because right now they reach 1 meter limbspan - but when they are fully grown their limbspan can reach up to two meters. They brought them from the Bering Sea region.

Crustaceans are highly appreciated by gourmets of seafood - their price reaches 35 U.S. dollars per kilo of meat. This is the only such specimens in Poland. The closest aquarium, which have this kind of crustaceans, is located in Berlin.
