Tatra Mountains closed

Due to heavy rain and sudden storms, the authorities shut down tourists’ routes. It is impossible to use them. Trails are completely flooded. Traveling through mountains is dangerous.

Some routes on Polish and Slovak side of the mountains are closed - informed "Tygodnik Podhalański" and portal onet.pl. On Polish side of the mountains you cannot walk through completely flooded routes from the Koscieliska to Chochołowska Valley and around the Morskie Oko.
