Russians can take over the shipyards in Gdansk and Gdynia, says the daily "Kommersant". Newspaper speculate that the company Jewraz Group, which belongs to the Russian billionire Roman Abramowicz, carry on talks about unification with the Industrial Union of Donbas.
The Ukrainian conglomerate has already bought Gdansk Shipyard and Czestochowa Foundry, and now compete for the purchase of Gdynia Shipyard. The intention is to combine it with Gdansk, create a large shipbuilding consortium producing more than dozen ships a year. If negotiations between Jewrazu and Donbas complete successfully, Russian Abramovich would take over control of two of the three Polish shipyards.
