Boom on the market of foreign tourism in Poland

More and more Poles spend their holidays abroad. We are getting rich what is followed by increasing benefits of travel agencies. As it results from the data gathered by PAP (Polish Press Agency) in some agencies such tendency will maintain for another several years.

"The record dynamism of growth of the touristic branch in 2007, estiamted by our agency at the level of 40% and a steady growth of interests in foreign tourism, let the companies working in this sector achieve the highest results in the history in 2007", informed PAP the financial director of the travel agency "Triada" Jacek Dąbrowski.

The press spokesman of "Orbis Travel" Stanislaw Cieślak informed that the agency within the last few years noticed 25-30% growth in sale of foreign touristic offers.

The reason for growing incomes of travel agencies is an increasing amount of Poles travelling abroad every year.

"What is indispensible for Poles is a quarantee of good weather, everyone wants to bag some rays and take a bath in a sea. Another argument is the price. Air travelling is cheaper than going on holidays by car in Poland", informed the director for management of the internet portal wakacje.pl Magdalena Krzywosińska.
