Stomach cocaine smuggling

Pole and a citizen of Guinea tried to smuggle cocaine to Poland. Policemen from the Central Bureau of Investigation, in cooperation with the Customs Chamber arrested them. Pole swallowed 53 half-centimetre drug capsules (each about 10 grams), the foreigner – 140.

The policemen and Customs Chamber officers obtained information that such smuggling can occur. Both men, who arrived to Poland, have been thoroughly checked at the Okęcie airport.
Police decided to transfer Pole and foreigner to the hospital, where they had an x-ray. - Then, it was found that in their alimentary canals and stomaches foreign body can be found - as it turned out these were the capsules of cocaine.
