Death of Polish alpinist-priest in Italy

35-years old Polish alpinist died on sunday in the region of Matterhorn. The man, who according to the establishment, was a priest, rector in central Poland fell from the height of 150 meter above the see level.

The alpinist slipped on the snow and fell into an abyss. The rescue team was informed by a casual companion of the climbing, also a Pole. The Polish priest's body was found at sunday evening. The rescue action was complicated by the very serious atmospheric conditions in the Pennine Alps.

Another alpinist got to the base safe and sound.
