Increase in passengers number at Warsaw Airport

Frederic Chopin airport in Warsaw attended 4 548 078 passengers in first two quarters of a year 2008 – it is around 8.37 per cent (351 413 passengers) more than last year during the same period. The biggest increase an airport had in charter flights, where the number of passengers increased by over 51 percent.

In the first half of year 2008, the number of air operations, that is take-offs and landings was 74 595 - an increase of more than 2.5 percent (1 875 operations), compared with the first two quarters of a year 2007.

34 airlines use the F. Chopin airport services, which operate from Warsaw 100 regular routes. The airport attends almost 25 thousand passengers a day.
