Accused of infecting with HIV
Tomorrow in the Warsaw court is beginning a trial of a Cameroonian Simon M., accused of infecting several women with HIV. He is threatened with 3 years of imprisonment.
Simon M. is charged with 13 accusations - eleven concern infecting women with HIV, one for exposing woman to such a desease and one for owning a melee without licence.
The Cameroonian claims that he did not know that he was infected and that he did a medical examination in 1999 which did not certified that he is a carrier of HIV. However, according to the police it results that he did know about his infection because the other women had informed him.
Simon M's casualties are in general young women (20-25 years old). Some of them said that he acted with premeditation, accusing them of racism when thay wanted to assure.
