Adamek won a fight

Tomasz Adamek defeated Gary Gomez in a fight in junior heavyweight, held at the boxing gala in Chicago. After sixth round American resigned continuing a duel, because of hand injury.

Adamek achieved 35 victories in his boxing professional career (he lost only once). His next opponent is Steve Cunningham, and a stake of this fight is World Championship Boxing Belt of the U.S. IBF organization. The fight is going to take place in late September or at the beginning of October.
