Battle of Grunwald Inscanization

The climax of Grunwald Days will be an inscanization of Battle of Grunwald fought in 1410, the biggest war in medieval ages. There was built a knights' village like every year where the participants get ready to fight. The workshop will be open in which one may observe blacksmith's, cobbler's, goldsmith's, armourer's work, there will be also beggars and tradeswomen.

The inscanization, organized since 1998 is watched every year by 70-100 thousand people. One will not miss such historical moments as: handing over of Teutonic swords to the Polish King Wladyslaw Jagiello or death of the Master of Teutonic Knights Urlich von Jungingen.

The battle fought on the 14th of July 1410 on the field under Grunwald was one of the biggest in the history of medieval Europe. It was a culmination of the great war with Teutonic Knights. Conjoined powers of Poland, Russia-Lithuania and supported by Chech division commanded by Polish King Wladyslaw Jagiello, defeated the army of Teutonic Knights commanded by the Great Master Urlich von Jungingen.
