Sentenced for giving date rape drug

A court in Cracow gave a verdict in case of a man who raped a woman after giving her a date rape drug. The court had no doubts. 22 years old woman, invited by Jaroslaw M. for a drink, was insidiously raped by him. The aggrieved woman regained consciousness on the next day at midday.

Unfortunately, she informed about the crime after seven days. That fact made impossible detection of the forbidden substance in her organism. That's why Jaroslaw M. was sentenced not to 5 years but to 2 years and 10 months of imprisonment.

The date rape drug is a psycho-active substance most frequently from the group of depressants (GHB). It is colourless, flavourless and very often tasteless. Among the people, who were given the pill melted in a drink, it evokes somnolence and amnesia. Very often without any consequences.
