Wojciech Jaruzelski's birthday

General Wojciech Jaruzelski celebrated his 86th birthday on sunday. On that occasion the leaders of SLD (Democratic Left Alliance), inter alia: the head of the party Grzegorz Napieralski and its leader Wojciech Olejniczak visited the former President wishing him all the best. Jaruzelski "is and will be the statesman", said the politicians.

In the meeting with Wojciech Jaruzelski took part the deputies of the left and representatives of left-wing organizations and parties. On Sunday in the church in Wilanów took place a Holly Mass for the former President.

The leader of SLD underlined that Wojciech Jaruzelski is and will be the statesman, a person who in the crucial moments of Polish history always served his fatherland. He added that the former President can always rely on the left-wing that will support him and protect the historical truth which accompnied his actions.
