In the history of Polish tennis there was no one who was classified so high. Agnieszka Radwanska's higest WTA ranking to-date is World No. 10.
She owes her position to her performance at Wimbledon when she reached quaterfinals. Also another leading Polish player, Marta Domachowska got promotion from the 65th position to 57th.
The leader of the classifaication is the Serbian Ana Ivanowic and there was a change on the position of vice-leader - the Serbain Jelena Jankovic was replaced by the Russian Maria Szarapova.
