There will be fewer Poles for about 2 million but they will be healthier

In the year 2035 there will be more than 2 million Poles fewer but they will be healthier as it results from the report of the Central Statistical Office (GUS). They predict that in 30 years a statistical Pole will be happy to live longer than today for about 6 years and his wife for 3 years.

In turn in 2020 Polish women will give birth to a child after 30. If they will decide for it becuse even now fewer and fewer women choose maternity. And if there is fewer births and in result more deaths, then the society is getting older.

According to GUS in 2035 272 thousand children will be born and even 450 thousand people will die.

According to the assumptions made by GUS there will a decline in giving birth and in the amount of heart attacks but at the same time the virus HIV and cancer will expand.

The number of emigrants from Poland will increase until 2012 and then fewer and fewer Poles will go to the West. Gradually there will be more immigrants who will start settling in Poland.
