Dwelling prices decline

The decline in selling of apartments is getting even worse. The second quarter was the worst since the break down of the market on summer last year - informed the analysts. In result the property companies are forced to cut the prices.

The worst situation is in Warsaw where for 3 months more or less 1,7 thousand apartments were sold- the fewest since one and a half year. Very bad results were also noticed by the property companies in the Tricity, Cracow and Poznan. Lodz and Wroclaw stand out in relief but a big amount of sales in these two cities does not save the rest.

In general in two quarters the property companies sold 5,6 thousand of apartments, whereas after the first quarter during which 8,8 thousand dwellings found its vendee, the bosses of the companies from the business ensured that the market is developing and there is no need to reduce the prices.

5,6 thousand of apartments in the worst result since the third quarter of 2007. At that time the market collapsed and the property companies found the buyers only on a bit more than 5 thousand dwellings. In the 4th quarter of 2007 the sale reached almost 9 thousand apartments.
