The end of anti-missile shield debate

This is the end of the debate in case of building of anti-missile shield elements in Poland. From Washington came back our main negotiator, Witold Waszczykowski fixed the conditions of building of a base in Poland. The President Lech Kaczynski said lately that he would like to make an agreement with the USA no later than this year.

"We have finished the debate. Now the decision belongs to Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs (MSZ), said Witold Waszczykowski, the vice-minister of foreign affairs. He stipulated that that he would not reveal any further details concerning the completed visit.

"The only think I can say is that on the margine of the agreement we have raised an issue of the more complex military cooperation", said Waszczykowski. And it is military help on which Tusk's government depended an agreement on building of anti-ballistic missile system in Poland.

Tomorrow before the midday the head of Polish government will meet with the ambassador of the USA Victor Ash because still there is no decision in case of the shield. And what is more the spokesman of MSZ Piotr Paszkowski does not confirm that the negotiation has come to an end.
