Pope John Paul II will not be a saint to soon
Pope Benedict XVI is not in a hurry with John Paul II beatification. He need to review each document and add further questions to the cards. This year, we cannot expect our pope on the altar - estimated the secretary of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints. The process can take years – he admited. "The Holy Father asked us, to prepared everything concerning pope Wojtyla properly, that is, without undue haste" - said Archbishop Michele Di Ruberto, the secretary of the Congregation in an interview with Italian newspaper "La Stampa". There is no doubt that Karol Wojtyla will not be beatified in 30 anniversary of his election for pope, on 16th of October. This is the end of hope for many Poles. It is necessary to compblete around 2.5 thousand pages of the biography of John Paul II. There is a need to find further evidence of his heroism, to find witnesses and convince Vatican historical commission.
