Fifteen self-service rastaurants serving cheap meals, which remained in the capital is experiencing its own renaissance. Bars are fragrant and clean, and the prices are very low.

Most bars were renovated, clean and smell with fresh food. Prices for food are like fairy tale - tomato soup cost 1.60 zloty, crepes less than 3, the same as borsh. For 10 zloty one can eat two course lunch with desert.
"It is elderly people with social assistance lunches coupons who come here most often. But there is the same number of students who come here as well. And of course, school trips" - says Krystyna Kościelniakowska, who for 30 years worked in a Familijny bar.
Not only price determine that people come to the cheap bars so often but also, especially in the case of older persons, the habit of eating traditional, normal, Polish meals.
