Al-Qaida prisoners were tortured in Poland
Szymany, a small town on Mazury, was one of the most important base of secret Central Intelligence Agency. Here, in 2002, leaders of the Al-Qaida terrorist organization, among them Chalid Sheikh Mohammed, one of the "brains" of the attacks in New York, 2001, were detained and tortured. These information can be found in an article published in the Sunday edition of "New York Times". Newspaper relies on the testimony of anonymous U.S. intelligence representatives. They claimed that in 2002 Chalida Sheikh Mohammed had been transported to the Polish intelligence centre in Szymany on Mazury. During few next weeks U.S. agents were trying to pull out a testimony about Al-Qaeda terrorist attacks. Mohammed resisted, so they needed to use "tougher methods." This means torture. According to the agents’ confession, a secret CIA base was chosen in Poland not accidentally. That’s not all, this base was one of the most important base of U.S. intelligence. This is because our country has no links neither religious nor cultural with Islam. Poland has also been chosen, and perhaps above all, because of the far-reaching willingness to cooperate with our intelligence. One can read in a newspaper that Polish agents were very helpfull. - Poland was then our 51th state - said to the newspaper one of the CIA officers. They are not keeping the secret that one of the techniques used to draw information was holding the suspects under the water for a while, but in such a way that would not caused their death. The head of logistics in Bin Laden’s organization Abu Zubajda was to be transported to the centre in Szymany as well. Experts in the use of so-called tough questioning methods, such as beating the heels of prisoners’ soles whether submerging under the water, were CIA agents specifically designated for that.
