Peter Lazarkiewicz died

The director, screenwriter and producer Peter Lazarkiewicz died suddenly on Friday of a heart attack. He was 54. In May, he finished his new film "0-1-0".

Born on March 13th, 1954, in Cieplice Slaskie, for many years was associated with the media, he worked also as an actor and film producer.
Peter Lazarkiewicz finished philology at the University of Wroclaw in 1977, in 1981 he received a diploma at the Department of Radio and Television on the University of Silesia.
He was a director and scriptwriter of such films as, inter alia,"Tele morele" and "The Dead Queen" ("Martwa królewna") and a producer of the film "The Witch Hunting" ("Polowanie na czarownice"). He was also the winner of a special prize on XVIIth Polish Film Festival.
