U.S. best universities fighting for Pole
The biggest U.S. television stations are talking about this. 17-year-old Luke Zbylut, United States resident just for five years, reached something that many young Americans could only dream of – he was admitted to seven best U.S. universities. He chose one of them - Harvard University.
It is a real success of the young Pole. Because new continent’s best universities were fighting to have him. Those seven universities have even their common name - the Ivy League. It is where many U.S. presidents finished their education.
17 years old boy modestly admitted in an interview that the transition from Polish to American school was easier than he expected, despite the fact that when he came to the United States, he knew only few English words, mainly curses. He was, however very ambitious. In his high school Luke belonged to a debating society, he was an editor in a school newspaper and a chairman of the law cicle, which arrange fictitious lawsuits. He was also a football player.
At Harvard he wants to study political science, law and philosophy.
