I National Kyudo Tournament in Wroclaw

On Saturday in Wroclaw I National Kyudo Tournament is beginning and it will be a great opportunity to see live, what does it consist in shooting with the Japanese bow. Thirty five players announced their participation. Free entry!
I Kyudo Tournament starts on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the sports hall at the University of Wroclaw on Przesmyckiego Street.

Contestants will take shots in groups of seven people. Regulation distance will be maintained between the archer and the shield, which is twenty-eight meters. The judge, Japanese with championship title in kyudo will be using special forms in which he will make notes about the performance of individual players. The winner will be the one who will hit accurately the target, which is the 28 centimeters diameter shield. Each player should have twenty-four shots in twelve turns, if the event will go on according to plan. The event is going to finish at 7 p.m.
