Each year, over 100 thousand people come to an open-air show on the Vistula in Cracow. Inviting a stars of this format is - as stressed the press conference organizers – a conscious change of the nature of the event.
"This year music will be a little more sophisticated, addressed to the educated people who are interested in new sounds" - said Magdalena Sroka, the director of the Cracow Festival Bureau, who is responsible for the organization of the event. "We want to pass on a message that Cracow is a city where one can meet the best entertainment and best tourist offer" - explained, "We want to invite to Cracow famous names and show something different, something new." She added that such actions give a chance to invite audiences from all over Europe.
