John Paul II National Stadium

Pope John Paul II would be the best patron for the National Stadium, which is going to be build in Warsaw - assessed PiS members. They announced that they would send a letter concerning this case to the Minister of Sport.

- National Stadium will have a rank of the most important sports facility in Poland, and therefore should have an admirable patron - said PiS deputy (Law and Justice) Artur Górski at a press conference. - It is difficult for me to imagine someone more important than John Paul II – he also stressed.
- I hope that this patron will remind all the fans of their commitment, which was made when they heard the news about the death of the Holy Father, that they would stop making a fuss and they will try to behave stately during sport competitions - stressed Górski.
