Five months old baby tortured to death

Five months old baby was tortured to death. 20-year-old father Kamil P. pleaded guilty of the beating up his own baby. He had 0.67 per mill of alcohol in his blood. The tragedy took place in the village near Bełchatów.

Marzena Rózik the mother of the child, cannot believe that Kamil P., the father of the child, could have done so horrible harm. She was dating him for five years, she knew him from school.
"When the baby was born, Kamil was really happy" - for a moment Marzena smiles to her memories. “We have lived without marriage, separately, but we were thinking of moving together to Kamil’s apartment. We wanted to be a normal family. In September we wanted to organize Łukaszek’s christening. And suddenly such a thing happened. I cannot live like this anymore, I cannot understand it... "-says the child’s mother.

It was Saturday evening. Her brother, the father of the child Kamil P. and few friends came to Marzena’s apartment. They chatted and drank beer. Amused company began to behave louder. So the woman took the child to a nearby room. She knew that the baby cannot go to sleep in such din. She went to bed with the child. But she had not enough time to fall asleep when Kamil P. came to the room. He was very loud. He woke up small Łukaszek and the little one began to whimper.
"I will go to make him some milk, and you just sit with him" – said the mother and went to the kitchen. “When I returned, there was nobody in the room. The child was lying on the cushion. It looks terrible – he had pale, scratched face and head and he could hardly breathe.

Infant was instantly taken to the hospital in Belchatow, unfortunately the doctors could not save him. Public Prosecutor's Office is likely to present a plea to Kamil P. tomorrow.
