Last year in June Presidential Office’s Minister Robert Draba traveled to Georgia accompanied by, among others, an international weapon dealer Abdul Rahman el-Assir. El-Assir was suspected of arming Hezbollah and associations with al-Qaida.
On the aircraft board Draba were also accompanied by Vice President of Bumar Artur Trzeciakowski. They were going to negotiate the terms of delivery of the weapon, produced by the company, to Georgia.
Press Bureau of the Presidential Office confirmed that Draba actually traveled with el-Assir and representatives from Bumar – he met Prime Minister and Minister of Defense in Georgia. Bureau claims that el-Assir was introduced to Draba by the Bumar board.
