Poland second in the world in beer consumption

According to the report "It is time for beer" Poland is the second country in Europe, where beer is a favorite alcoholic beverage. Only the Czechs are ahead of us.

The report was carried out among 15 European countries. According to it, 61 percent of Poles say that beer is their favorite beverage. Czechs are 4 percent ahead of us. We are, however, inter alia, better than the Germans, Danes, Dutch and Italians.



According to Dr. Christopher Łęcki, sociologist from the University of Silesia, Poles have a decent beer and like meetings in casual atmosphere, where there is no need "to booze vodka." Poles prefer national brands of beer, but it follows more from financial issues than patriotic.
