Open air Opera in Wroclaw

On the island in the center of Wroclaw "Othello" will be watched by 24 thousand spectators. Great performances have become a Polish speciality.
A fortress has been built on Piaskowa Island. Fortress has been equipped with dozen cannons, which are going to be fired at night. Verdi's opera premiere will be held today in Wroclaw. There will be six performances, each for 4 thousand spectators.
Wroclaw Opera "Othello" is beginning a rich holiday season. The same day Gliwice invite you to "Carmen", although not in the open air, but in the burnt ruins of the Urban Theatre. One week later, special buses are going to carry residents and tourists to Cracow Niepołomice on "Gypsy Baron." The first part will be set on the grassland next to the local castle, the final in the courtyard of this Renaissance monument.
