Today, from 12 a.m. to 1 p.m. a total traffic jam awaits us. Trucks drivers are going to stop their trucks for one hour, blocking roads across the country. This is a protest against high fuel prices.

The protest will be attended by trucks drivers from the Association of International Road Transport (Zrzeszenia Międzynarodowych Przewoźników Drogowych) and other transport associations. So the situation on the roads may be dramatic - not only the fact that we have road repairs everywhere but also truck drivers are going to jam more roads.
The carriers complain that the increase in fuel prices makes their live miserable. And this is not only in Poland. Truck drivers in Spain also protest.

Truck drivers are demanding the reduction in diesel oil prices, retention of vignettes, improvement in situation on the roads on our eastern border, and the elimination of restrictions concerning fuel import to Poland – right now the truck driver can have 200 liters in his fuel tank.
